“Rastri Hindi Pandarwa” festival is being celebrated from 14th Sep to 30th Sep at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar

Jalandhar 30 September (Jaswinder Azad)- “Rastri Hindi Pandarwa” festival is being celebrated from 14th Sep, 2017 to 30th Sep, 2017, from Department of Hindi of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. In order to dedicate this festival, a seminar named “ Punjab meh Samrid Hota Hindi Sahitye or Hindi” was conducted in the college. In this seminar, one of the Hindi famous poets of Punjab named Dr. Manmohan Sapra was presented as a Chief guest. He was welcomed by the principal of the college, Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra and head of Hindi Department Bhavna, by presenting him a bunch of flower. Dr. Manmohan Sapra told the students about the Hindi literary writers and their contribution to Hindi literature in detail. He also inspired students to read and write Hindi literarture. On this occasion, Principal Samra, Dr. Bhavna and chief guest Dr. Manmohan awarded the students who stood first, Second and third in essay writing competition. On this occasion, while addressing to students, Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra told that Hindi literature is so vast and many famous literary writings can be seen in Hindi literature also, further, he told we should also knowledge about it. Head of the Punjabi Department, Prof. Gopal Singh Buttar also shared his views with students. Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh and Head of Hindi Department, Dr. Bhavana awarded the chief guest at the end of seminar. On this occasion, Prof. Prabh Dyal, Prof. Manpreet Kaur, Dr. Pardeep Kumar, Prof. Gurjeet Kaur, Prof. Manjinder Singh Johal and Prof. Ravinder Kumar were also present.
