Jalandhar 21 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Computer Club of PG Deptt. of Computer Science and IT organized a Logic Development event for its classes. The programme commenced with floral welcome of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen by Dr. Sangeeta Arora, HOD, Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Incharge Computer Club and Mr. Gullagong, Jt. Incharge Computer Club. Principal Dr. Sareen appreciated the students for actively participating in the event and encouraged them to do well in every field. Almost 70 students participated in the event out of which 32 were under Logic Development using C, 28 took part in C++ and 10 in Web Technology using ASP.NET. Mrs. Urvashi Mishra, Mr. Jagjit Bhatia and Mr. Anil Bhasin were the judges of the event. In C Programming Ms. Archana Luthra and Ms. Lovepreet Kaur of B.Sc. IT got first prize, Ms. Radhika and Ms. Sanjeevani of BCA stood second and Ms. Jaspreet and Ms. Nainika won third position. In logic development using C++ Ms. Reetika and Ms. Manisha of BCA bagged first, Ms. Saloni and Ms. Raveena got second and Ms. Utsav and Ms. Shivani of B.Sc. Comp.Sc. stood third. Similarly, in ASP. NET, Ms. Pooja and Ms. Vaishali of M.Sc. IT won first position, Ms. Manisha and Ms. Jaspreet bagged second position and Ms. Namrata and Ms. Amandeep got third position respectively. Efforts made by students were much appreciated by the judges. The event also witnessed the presence of all the members of the computer department.
