Jalandhar 21 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Staff and students of Lyallpur Khalsa College remembered its three alumni Police personnel who sacrificed their lives in the process of maintaining law and order in the horrendous times of 1984-92. On this occasion, a two minute silence was observed to pay homage to these soldiers who included IPS Seetal Das, ASI Baljeet Singh, and ASI Sukhwinder Singh. Speaking on the occasion the college Principal Dr GS Samra said that the college had always provided quality education to its students without any discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, religion or community and has ever tried to instill sense of duty and obedience in its students. He urged the students to maintain communal harmony for the progress of the society.
