The things placed in the corner can be picked by any needy person. Throwing more light on the Empathy Corner Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV averred that this initiative aims to create a sense of responsibility and empathy in the younger generations. As things are placed in the corner and not given to the needy persons it builds a sense of selfless service among the students. It also provides them an opportunity to introspect and realize how privileged they are as compared to the lesser privileged folks and the onus to share and care lies on their shoulders. Over the year different departments of the college had taken charge of the functioning of Empathy Corner along with the Gandhian Studies Centre, granted to KMV by UGC. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Monica Sharma, Director Gandhian Studies Centre for carrying out meaningful and relevant social extension activities throughout the year.
