Jalandhar 31 July (Jaswinder Azad)- PG Department of Chemistry, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organised a Guest Lecture on the topic “Nanotechnology: A Science Beyond Barrier with Implications” in which Dr. Mandeep Singh Bakshi from Department of Chemistry, University of Wisconsin, Green Bay USA was the key speaker. Welcoming the guests, the college Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra said that nanotechnology was an upcoming field and its importance was rising day by day in diverse areas. In his interaction with the student, Dr Bakshi gave a detailed description of nanotechnology. He informed students on formulation of nano particles and also about their application in the field of and medical field. Vote of thanks on the occasion was presented by Head of the Department Prof. Arunjit Kaur. On this occasion, faculty members of department and over 100 students of science classes were present.
