Jalandhar 17 April (Jaswinder Azad)- On 14th April 2017 (Friday) Eklavya School, Jalandhar observed the Black Day. It is a South Korean informal tradition in which the people assemble together and enjoy their meals. On this day, the people of South Korea drown their sorrows and try to spread love among their dear ones.
Various activities were done in the school and the children were made familiar with the culture of South Korea. The speech was given by the educator in the assembly. The teachers explained the children about traditions and cultures of various countries. The children also discussed about Indian culture and tradition among themselves. They made beautiful gifts for each other and shared their food. The tiny tots also made a beautiful heart in order to spread the message of love and care.
The Chairman of the School, Mr. J.K. Gupta said that such kinds of days are very informative for the children as they get to know about the life lived by our neighbouring countries. The Director, Ms Seema Handa and the Principal, Ms. Dimpal Sharma appreciated the children’s love and care for each other.
